Huntington Manor Juniors

Our Program

The Huntington Manor Juniors program is designed to educate and inspire young individuals who are interested in learning about firefighting, emergency services, and contributing positively to their community. Members gain valuable skills, discipline, and a sense of camaraderie through hands-on training and community activities.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to empower young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become effective leaders in emergency services and active, responsible members of their community.

The HMFD Juniors are always training, learning, and preparing for action! Our members are actively developing essential firefighting skills, including:

🔥 SCBA Training – Mastering the use of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus for real-world scenarios.
🔨 Forcible Entry – Learning to break through doors and barriers in emergency situations.
🚒 Hose Handling & Ladder Operations – Perfecting techniques for deploying hoses and scaling ladders safely and efficiently.

But it's not all hard work—we also make time for fun! We have exciting group outings planned, including ice skating, RPM Raceway, SkyZone, and more.

Looking ahead, we're gearing up for the 2025 Drill Team Season! This is where we put our skills to the test on the track, competing in high-energy races that involve running hose, hitting targets, and working as a team. With teamwork, communication, and a competitive spirit, we're aiming to bring home a trophy—or two!
